    to be a better vine

     love must flow through you
    like a river
    love can plug a hole
    when the heart is bleeding
    but if love is abused
    it becomes like a tub full of water
    it will become stagnant
    so then it must be drained
    it must be released

    love is not a drug
    it can't be used as a fix
    because it can become isolated
    love has to grow
    it has to reach out
    it can't be boxed from sunlight

    love is real when it exists before
    when it exists... during
    and it exists...after
    and within you

    if you can love endlessly
    others will see this
    they will take you serious
    and love will go where it's intended
    before
    during
    and after

    Great poetic sense. I think I would have used the adverb construction of "serious" but otherwise leave this unedited. It is powerful just as it is.
