To Many Times
To many times we sit on the side linesAnd put off till tomarrow
What we really should be doing today.
To many times we fight the fights
That were never ours
Yet if not for us who would stand up
For the inocet and weak.
To many times we try and change
The things that never will
We watch as the children die and hearts break
Every time it takes a peice of us.
To many times we say things we really dont mean,
We lay in our beds at night
And we weep for all the hurtfull things said and done
We ask for forgivness
But to many times our words cut to deep
And forgivness doesnt come.
To many times I've laid awake at night
Just waiting for moring light
It sems to never come the dawn just lingers
No light of day.
To many times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
