To my Landlord - please take note

I really don’t mind you using my loo
But a couple of things will you please do?
It isn’t really too much to ask
Or a heavily laden burden of task
I don’t want to be greeted upon lifting the lid
With a turgid sea monster, or an artistic skid.
On the rim please don’t leave a splash
I don’t want to obtain a urinal rash
So when you leave please make sure to flush
As reading this on the door may make you blush
One more thing that I request
Wash your hands, after your toilet rest.

    Quite different.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
