    Poem Commentary

Its easy to be in love, and stay in love when things are going good. True love is defined by those moments when the storms of life want to rip relationships apart. No matter how tough life can become, if 2 hearts work together, love will flourish and become a strong unbreakable band. This song is dedicated to a very special friend of mine. May love bring you your hearts desires.

    Touch

Baby the aint no doubt about it
When I look into your eyes
I can hear that distant thunder
I can feel that passion start to rise

Just one kiss so soft and tender
I can feel you tremble deep inside
    When our hearts fully surrender
Its a love we cant deny

    Chorus:

When the rains fall down around us
And the wind begins to blow
    Lightening flashes in the distance
    And the rivers over flow
When we're deep in troubled water
    And life becomes to much
We'll hold on tightly to each other
All we have to do is touch

I'll keep your heart so close beside me
    Never wanting to let go
All the dreams we share together
Of this love we've come to know
I'll place that ring upon your finger
And build those dreams on solid ground
We'll put our faith in tomorrow
And keep our trust in what we found

    Repeat chorus

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
