    Poem Commentary

    I was blown away by my friends picture and so inspired to write this poem. I didn't draft a poem, this quatrain just came out. It's not brilliant, but it's from my heart... hope you enjoy reading it.

    Under Iceland Skies

    Clouds drew ‘cross the setting sun

    A day now ending as it had begun

    Having fun under an Iceland sky

    Caught by a cameras’ watching eye

     

    Magnificence, in all its' glory

    We’ll savor its’ awesome story

    In a picture to always see

    The day we shared, you & me

     

    Mountains rise to meet it’s shine

    And oceans blue are left behind

    Until another day and it’s sun

    T’where we’ll share more fun!

     

    Iceland has much beauty there

    Think no worries nor a care

    Under Iceland skies like these

    Are surely here for us, to please!!

    Creative word use in these nicely rhyming couplets...great imagery and I think Iceland's travel board would love this one! I did too!
