    Understanding

     Waves of confusion
    come crashing down the the oceans frothy waves.
    Hot rays of sadness
    beating down like the hot Summer sun.
    She doesn't know
    where to turn to.
    She doesn't understand
    anymore.
    The understanding
    of this world
    has slipped away.
    Slipped away into a bug patch of consuming
    nothingness.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
