    untitled

Unaware of the call she has put out

    At battle with the flesh

Holding on until face to face with the one

Her imagination seems to take her away

    To far away places

    Then it happens again

    He is there with her

Feeling her hands on his chest, shoulders

    Up and down his arms

But not able to see his face she is alarmed

    Just hoping one night

That she sees the face of her black knight

    Can’t even hear his voice

    Days blend with nights

    Nights blend with days

    Everything has a haze

Maybe it is because of the sleep she is losing

Then intuition tells her he was near

Then he hesitates thinking it could be some kind of trap

Him, she doesn’t blame because she has felt the same

A beautiful and sensual poem, it took me as if in a dream. Your use of imagery painted pictures in my mind. A good read.

part of it is a dream that i keep having...thank you for stopping by and giving it a read

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
