    Poem Commentary

    This is based on a advertisement at my school trying to find out, What is Cake?

    What is Cake?

    Happy; cheerful reporter had an interview to answer for all of us one simple question.
    What is Cake?
    Reporter was calm, relaxed, thinking the interview would go with no problem,
    no one told him how nutty he looked asking an actual cake that question.
    "What is cake?" the reporter asked again
    The cake sat there, not saying a word;
    "What is cake?" the reporter asked again looking nervous
    He threw his clipboard at the cake;
    "What are you?"
    "What is Cake?"
    "What is Cake?"
    "What are you?"
    "What the Hell are you?"
    What is Cake?"
    "Tell me, What is Cake?"
    "AHHHHHHHHHHHH"
    He yelled miserably at the cake, still cake never answered.
     -Hours later-
    Reporter is eating the cake still asking,
    "What is Cake?"
    "What is Cake?"
    "What is Cake?"
    Did the reporter ever get his answer?
    No who won this battle;
    The Cake.

    Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
