    Poem Commentary

A little spin on old story.

    when skies turn red

    in a time now past

    a dreadful time of woe

    when evil tried to reign

    fairies be all but gone

    elves their too

    dwarf's still hide

    unicorn's be morned

    dragon's their too

    a dreadful time of woe

    as ocean's turned red

    the sky reflected

    forever absorbed

    a gentle reminder

    while man shall reign

ty, glad you like, I believe the reader should grasp the idea, and finish the thought's behind it themselves

You write to much in so few, you are an expert at this... and what you DO say, is loud and real.

I'm glad you enjoy it, I was told by teacher friend that I was using to many big words and fewer and simpler words would be better. So I tried to adapt.

Perhaps, as long as there exist adults who remember and children who dream, all of this world’s magic will not be lost to the mechanical musings of the logistical mind. After all, was it not magic and dreams that gave birth to all the vast knowledge that we hold belief in now? “That’s the thing with magic. You’ve got to know it’s still here, all around us, or it just stays invisible for you.” ~Charles de Lint

I see that magic lives in the hearts of my grand children, magic will out live us all in the hearts that dare to believe and dream. ty for reading

    thanks

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
