    When Words Fail....

    When words fail

    How can you explain…

    What it feels like to look at an eagle soaring and you immerse yourself into all the symbolism that it embodies…

    When you hear a song on the radio that reminds you that you are loved….

    When you hear the truth of someone else’s story and you are reminded of your purpose….

    When you remember the tragedies narrowly escaped, and don’t know how you escaped them…

    When certain truths about your journey are revealed, yet your future seems so uncertain….

    When your leaders promote apathy and continue to take from those who decide to work…

    When you have raised your children to be contributors not takers; and yet daily the ideals that they were taught are being trampled and their resources sabotaged…

    What can be said?  To whom do we scream? 

    To each other? To our representatives? To businesses?  Who will hear our cry?

    God, save this country….from its leaders, from ourselves.
