  • It is a new year and I can't wait to read all my friends new poetry.

Poem Commentary

Fun with Nonet.

Wind Mills

Windmills stretch my imagination
casting shadows lit by sunlight
catching myths in downy dreams
upon wild windstorm clouds
dancing blades touching
rainbows fanning
pipe dreams

Nice Work Sally! You certainly have a gift with being able to convey so much in so few words, I love the cadence and lay-out of the poem as well. Awesome job! :) Ken

This one you did it Sally. Carefully chosen words, strong ones, perfect ones and for the most part of it, each word flows smoothly, it fits where it should be.

Thank you friend.

This is a lovely poem. I especially like 'when fairies land, pipe dreams fly' Beautiful.

Thanks for reading it. Sally

A lovely piece, I remember the wind mills of Holland and we even have wind mills in the Philippines to generate electricity. Cheers

wheelsal, I am happy to be back here on your page reading extraordinary poetry like I have just read in this poem of amazing imagery and fanciful language. ginga

Extrodinary is such a long word and I am honored by it. Thank you so much and congrats to you. Sally

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
