    Winter Haiku

     

    Drips freeze, drops re-freeze

     Dawns shivery icy melt

     Briefly winter thaws

    Excellent Haiku. The mechanics are sound and the theme is germane. The shift in paradigm in the last line as well as the word parley seem perfect to me. Great job. -Alan

    i love haiku and this is a great one tells so much in a small amount of words wish i could do them as well

    Marion - For a first attempt you certainly conveyed the imagery well. I hate winter - but like this Haiku .. Thawing .. my favorite part of the season. :) Ken

    Me too. I hate winter so much and am tired of it, now. I think I improved a little on "Love Haiku", though.
