    Poem Commentary

    The Spirit of Nature has much to impart if only we will listen.

    Wisdom of Creation

    I asked the Tree
    To show me patience,
    Flexibility and grace

    I asked the Rock
    To show me firmness,
    Steadiness and weight

    I asked the Clouds
    To show me cycles,
    Giving and receiving

    I asked the Sun
    To show me vibrance,
    Radiance and healing

    I asked the Moon
    To show me Mystery,
    Silence and repose

    I asked the Stars
    To show their gifts to me
    When in twilight they arose

    I asked the Sea
    To show me power,
    Balanced ebb and flow

    I asked the Flower
    To show me beauty
    How to bloom and how to grow

    If you ask,
    You shall receive

    Extend the invitation

    Just be open
    To perceive
    The Wisdom of Creation

    Excellent! I have read many poems and this one stands out as one of the best. Having read other works of so-called poems I was often disappointed,however, this work is not want of those. the rhythmn continues throughout and you paint an excellent picture in the mind of this reader. Obviously a 10
