    Words

     They’re coming and going
    They’re flying around
    By words of two tongues
    I've been carried away
    The Earth, the Existence
    The Love and the Faith
    They all, when pronounced
    Just mechanical waves

     The words are my colors
     The mind is my brush
      I put in the painting
      So much of my heart
      Two different languages
      Different shades
      How match them together
      In beautiful art

     We blessed and we cursed
     We involved and belong
     My friend, we inhabit
     Incredible world
     To name the events
     To pronounce our thoughts
     To paint on the canvas
      Where colors are words

You are truely word worthy - I write with the pure love of the sound and meaning of words and how they can create images far beyond the normal limits of ones imagination. You have mixed and expressed with style.... Soul

Ah, the artist is in full bloom in this poem. In college I was asked to write a poem about words for a Professor Lee Lanes textbook on communications; “By All Means Communicate”. I never found out if he used it in his book or not but later I published a version of it in the Miami Florida's Literary Society's '85 or '86 calendars. You poem expresses so must more fluidly than what I wrote about the thoughts of words. Well done, my friend.

Thank you. It is real struggle for me to write English poems, but feels like I am not capable to write poetry in Russian anymore

I perused a few of your writings and this one really caught my eye. Wonderfully brought forth. I felt minor flaws with the rythm being out of tense in a few places aka found myself adding or subtracting within my mind. Two languages hehehe Imajin that!

Thank you for comment. I think I was more successful writing in Russian, but I really enjoy exploring new language, new culture and new poetry

So true! Great poem! Yeah Poets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
