WORDS
Words have been my friend since I could use an inkpen.
They have soothed me, taught me, helped me along the way.
I used words to tell about my day. To work through my feelings good, bad, happy, or sad. They help me express myself, when I am fuming mad.
Words have been my confidante, my shelter from the storm. My words have wrapped around me making me feel safe, secure, and warm
My words express my feelings and my inner thoughts. They have given me happiness, joy, and peace. They have secured me a special kind of release.
My words are important to me, but they are not the only ones I see. The words of my mother, my aunts, my sister, my cousins, my friends have helped me through many different experiences.
There words have been effective. They have helped me form opinions, shape my thoughts, make up my mind. They helped me be decisive and firm, yet kind.
Words are important. USE WORDS WISELY BECAUSE ONCE YOU PUT THEM OUT THERE, THEY ARE HARD TO RETRIEVE. I choose to use my words not to hurt but to relieve.
Words have been my friend since I could use an inkpen.
