    Writer's Block

    Pencil to paper.
    Got nothing.
    Rack your brain
    For anything to say.
    Try again.
    Pencil to paper.
    Nothing comes.
    Get up.
    Walk around.
    Turn your mind
    Inside-out
    Upside-down.
    Search for something,
    Anything,
    To write about.
    Got an idea!
    Sit down.
    Pencil to paper.
    Lost it!.....
    Begin again.

I think everyone here knows how that goes. I've had ideas that woke me out of a deep sleep but when I went to write them down had nothing. Nice way to explain it though. Great Job! M-Robb

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
