    Years Away
    Years away and hidden,
    faded in a dresser drawer,
    live my words.
    all waiting-
    withered.
    wrapped,
    and yellow worn.

    Perhaps, a pair of eyes
    will see,
    remark on what I say,
    or just a well,
    left to rot, and unassumingly,
    tossed away.

    This is how I feel about my poetry! I too put some of my poems in my dresser drawer.
