    You Are Free

You must have known I loved you until your dying day.
Sometimes I forgot to tell you but I put it on display.
You touched my life in a special way like an aunt is supposed to do.
I will cherish the times we had together.
The hugs, kisses, and close talks too.
There was a time of uncertainty in my life not so long ago.
I had no clue of who was around me.
Remembering clearly, that in your arms, you held me so.
I never really thought about it and put all that pain behind.
God knows that I thanked you in my prayers deep within my heart and mind.
To my family and friends I'm feeling your pain as we sit here and mourn together.
It's time to look up to our Creator above.
For aunt Sis's time is about to get better.
She conquered her trials and looked death in the face while preparing herself for her resting place.
She heard from the grandest kings of all---our Lord and Savior, Jesus,
    who gave her a call.
He freed her from bondage in this system of things in order to show her what true love means.
It means make your peace now and prepare your own way.
So that we can all meet again on Resurrection Day.
    AMEN

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
