    You Define Me

I wear these colors for you
    So you think I’m bright
    I’m mismatched for you
    So you think I’m wild
My hair falls this way for you
    So you think I’m free
I do these things for myself
But when I see you, you’re who it’s for
    Do I over think it?
    Perhaps.
Maybe everyone has just under-thought it all these years.
I’m not straying away from who I am
When I go to see you, I am magnified
You let me be bright, wild, and free
You make me so me it’s scary

    well portrayed, nice job

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
