You Say/I Say
You yell when the truth is told,
but I just say okay.
You yell when I am happy,
I smile even more.
You tell me i'm better off dead,
I say thank you.
You curse when I tell you who you are,
I know i'm right.
You say i'm stubborn, troubled, depressed? A nobody?,
But I agree.
You say I don't care,
I say maybe I don't.
You say I love you,
I say it back...
