    Poem Commentary

    Alright, this poem is quite old, but I loved it, nonetheless. I am currently seven months sober of any cuts, but I wrote this poem about a week before my family discovered my addiction and sent me to a few counsilers. But this was my past, and I felt it was worth sharing. I have been a much happier person since then.

    Your Little Lifeless Doll

     Listen to a shattering sound
    Broken hearts are all around
    No more jumping, no more joy
    Let my sanity be your toy
    Here I am, yor doll on strings
    No longer feel anything
    Slit my wrists with such great haste
    My life is just one big waste
    No more mourning, no more tears
    Love can't be told 'part from fears
    Blood is caked up in my hair
    You just say 'chin up, nightmare'
    Here I am, no feeling, seeing
    My body, numb, no point to fleeing
    Squeeze me till my bones all soften
    Your tight grip will be my coffin

    Always sad when a person is unjustly taken for granted and neglected to the point of their not mattering... Well put...
