    You're Breaking Me...

    I am breaking,
    deep inside,
    where I keep all the things
    I have to hide...

    All because of you
    and your clever little mind,
    that sees the things,
    little things,
    that slip out from time to time...

    You see them
    and turn to question...
    And I'm afraid one
    will somehow break the dam...

    So I answer carefully,
    none of them real answers,
    and somehow you know,
    but just accept them...

    I think you believe
    that one day Ill tell you
    all my secrets and fears
    so you can come to the rescue...

    But really, I doubt it...
    and at the same time, dont...
    Because each time you question me,
    the real answers jump in my throat...

    But I keep them down,
    push them back inside;
    Even though I'm slipping,
    there are still secrets to hide...

    Great poem dear! You're title is telling of secrets; we live in a society where there are so many secrets and little privacy. Do your best to protect your privacy and when you feel your secrets are safe with someone follow your inner siren-gut with someone you trust...but make darn sure that person earns your trust...and I wish I knew the secret to knowing this life lesson...LOL. So when you feel safe reveal and if you don't - don't let nobody break you...LOL Peace, Love and Light

    Excellent poem and I see so much of me in this . I answer but always hold back, I never reveal all though at times I come close . Wonderfully written
