A Fork in the Road

A Fork in the Road

I traveled along this trail and approached a fork in the road.

But it doesn't explain why my heart is turning cold.

I have two painful routes to take.

And I hope this is the last step I take to get to my fate.

I don't want to feel that guilty conscious if she makes her decision too late.

But I don't want to sit and expect heartbreak and wait.

I don't want to hurt her but I'm hurting myself as I go.

I don't want to force her decision I just want her to know.

That she holds the key to my world.

And when it comes to my future she is the only girl.

The claws of my heart are clamped on to her attraction.

And I know its everlasting.

But want is her reaction...
