A friend I cherish with all my heart
A gift from God from the very start
Through all the laughs and all the tears
Our friendship grew throughout the years
God gave me this friend, a friend of love
An angel sent from heaven above
She's a loving spirit with a heart of gold
God's goodness burns within her soul
She sees the need, she strives to fulfill
Always anxious to God's will
