A Kind of Snowball
Little acts of kindness
Are not so little at all
For they soon accumulate
Like flakes making a snowball,
And then, with forward motion
Those acts grow so immense
That they could fill the whole world
If we give kindness a chance.
A Kind of Snowball
Little acts of kindness
Are not so little at all
For they soon accumulate
Like flakes making a snowball,
And then, with forward motion
Those acts grow so immense
That they could fill the whole world
If we give kindness a chance.
When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
