A rainy day
The sound of silence echoing in my ear
Can you hear it
Ringing, ringing, ringing
Vibrating through me
A gray wet cool day
Looking out my window
Raindrops fill the sky
Crashing against the ground
Mesmerized
Frozen in time
Wonderful blue and melancholy
A peaceful feeling
Looking out my window
On a rainy day
