A Shot at Romance
When I first laid eyes on you I glanced,
Never thinking or wondering that we
Could ever have a shot at Romance.
I’m not trying to sell you any
Promises or Dreams,
Just an honest attempt to promote
Us to home team.
Boo I can be all the man he
Was and more,
One day to be with you is
What I long for.
Is there another that tries
To amount to my thoughts of us,
Because in time we’ll be together
I could only trust.
If I’m dreaming princess
Wake me up from this nightmare,
Because leading me on baby
Would be so unfair.
