A woman's world
Crooked walks of life,
empty shoes,
souls out searching with
clouded views.
Black mascara tears run down beautiful cheeks
Lips un-kissed spend nights upon salty pillows
and clean sheets.
Hearts weep, eyes cry,
Necks hold heads upright,
shoulders pacify...
Men and children give us purpose,
They run to us, we receive,
At their service wearing
lullaby smiles.
Reflecting upon the men; their uprise
and the children; how they will raise post-nest
We strengthen the youth with yesturdays sorrow,
Grocery bags from hard earned dollars
envelope their hardbound knowledge,
Baby powder hands embrace their childhood
and pass them off to college.
Fathers stand tearless with pride.
All emotions aside,
A woman is a sister, a mother, a bride,
a friend, a lover, a soldier at times.
we are worshiped
we are feared,
Laughter fills our voids
emotions, our hearts pull near
Even loving to hate cleaning up after
dirty socks and
toys scattered, reaping nessesities of others,
our nature is nurture,
though infinate tangability, we curse and search for...
empty shoes,
souls out searching with
clouded views.
Black mascara tears run down beautiful cheeks
Lips un-kissed spend nights upon salty pillows
and clean sheets.
Hearts weep, eyes cry,
