    Always & Forever

I stand here as you put
that ring upon my finger. I
    hear you say together
    always and forever.

    Someone please tell me just
what it means. As far as I
knew, it was a way of saying
    a perfect marriage.

But from what i've seen as
I watch and get to know many
couples. I see that there is
no such thing as a perfect marriage.

After all there's more. I now
    know what it means when
    someone says together always
    and forever.

    For when someone says these
few words. It's just a quicker way
of saying that they will work together
and solve their problems. And also
things that should come along in there lives.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
