Am I in a state of depression?
Am I paying for my sins and transgressions?
Why am I constantly trying to turn the hands of time?
Am I lost in a world without hope?
Can I deal with pain, am I able to cope?
These feelings I have continuously drive me up the wall
The problems I’ve faced, seemed to have been 10 feet tall
Am I crying out to a deaf ear?
Am I staring down at the face of fear?
Am I listening to an unsure voice?
By not doing all three, do I make the right choice
One day I will find out what is wrong
No longer will you hear me singing this song
In my many hours of depression
I found the knowledge and inspiration
I know I’m not in a state of depression
I know I’m not paying for my sins or transgressions
I now know what I needed to find
And yes I found it, a peace of mind
I’m not lost in the world, because it’s filled with hope
I’ve been down before, so I’ll make it, I’ll cope
The feelings I’ve had have been thrown away
The problems I’ve had didn’t occur today
Now I feel as if I’m worry free
And this is the way life should be
But I know that problems will arise
But I won’t let them be my demise
