    An Aeon of Memories

    Something cold and sharp
    piercing through my heart
    An Aeon of Memories
    to taunt the fears
    of jeopardy
    I've cried for help
    and they all heard
    a roaring waterfall
    of tortured words
    a string of tension
    always remains
    I still bear the scars
    and feel the pain
    processing and letting go
    trying to hard
    will break the bow
    Giving but holding back
    I've paid the price
    And now I want
    my money
    back
