    AN ODE IN MEMORIUM...November 08

    Bitter the wind that now sweeps...autumn's leaves beneath
    the snows.
    Winter presses in, to paint landscapes bleak...with outlook
    grim.
    My love, suddenly, is gone...beyond the veil of the earth she knows...
    Till spring breaks forth, revealing her life in Glory...eternal...
    in Him.

    How to go on?...now left behind!...meaningless goals, cast
    aside;
    Personal agenda...a thing of the past...disappearing with
    youthful desire.
    What lies ahead for a heart so torn?...sometimes reluctant to abide...
    in a life so filled with sorrow...waiting for a time and place to retire.

    Oh, Man despised, rejected of men...Man of sorrows, acquainted with grief...I cannot hide my face from thee;
    ...You came for her...now come for me!!

    Life, without you Jean.....is emptiness ..Keith

    If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
