    autumn

Days drift by as autumn settles in.

The view quite stunning from the changing leaves.

The brisk wind hurries walkers to their destinations, while the unnoticed leaf falls to it's demise.

Rodents gather food and forage, for they know old man winter is right behind.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
