because of you
I sit alone along the lake
to watch the sun descend,
I used to sit and think
of how my life might end.
I once longed for the icy touch
of the Blade across my skin,
And I knew the line I
walked was very, very thin,
My parents didn’t listen
they barely even heard
Of the pain that I was going
through they said I was absurd.
I viewed my life as glass;
Glass that had been shattered
and then was soaked with gas.
As my life got worse
I saw the gas ignite
I turned away in pain as the
flames they grew so bright.
I tried to douse the fire
and clean up all the mess,
But my hands got burned and
bloodied and added to the mess.
Through the burned and broken
pieces I tried to sort them through,
And I realized this all started
when I fell in love you.
to watch the sun descend,
I used to sit and think
of how my life might end.
I once longed for the icy touch
of the Blade across my skin,
And I knew the line I
walked was very, very thin,
My parents didn’t listen
they barely even heard
Of the pain that I was going
through they said I was absurd.
I viewed my life as glass;
Glass that had been shattered
and then was soaked with gas.
As my life got worse
I saw the gas ignite
I turned away in pain as the
flames they grew so bright.
I tried to douse the fire
and clean up all the mess,
But my hands got burned and
bloodied and added to the mess.
Through the burned and broken
pieces I tried to sort them through,
And I realized this all started
when I fell in love you.
