Borderline

Chaos reigns within
Emotions raging like storms
Constantly shifting
My identity A puzzle, always changing
Lost and found, adrift
Fear of abandonment
Anxiety grips my heart tight
Pushing loved ones away
Black and white thinking
No shades of gray in my mind
Life is all or none
Invisible wounds
Beneath a smiling facade
Pain, a constant friend

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
