    • No poetic puns or fancy frazes, just 3 words that drive me crazy- "I Love You"

    "Broken Promises"

    The silhouette on the wall
    Shadow of two so small
Silent stares given in nights light
Send my angels to their flight
To each, give strength of an angels fight
Doorway of their hearts are open
Inside you'll see how badly broken
The pain of my addiction worn on their face
Those eyes only yearning to share in my space
Bring no illusion to what the cost
The time between us is what we've lost
My love for both has never gone unspoken
Proven now by no more promises broken

Eloquently said...written by a true poet, as well. I LOVE the feel of this...just love it.

A nicely written work of quiet sadness. Well done.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
