Have I lost myself so long ago that all I know how to respond to is
the recognizable abusive love that soothes my broken soul…
Thoughts of hope & change are chocked out by
hateful words and hurtful hands…

Is this the underserved destiny of me?
I have become this battered stranger behind the broken smiles,
Knowing only to embrace the passionate violence that loudly serenades me.
Will I wake from this distorted broken affection that has blackened my heart…?

Sad to say aloud that this is what is comfortable – ABUSE
I have forgotten how else to exist…
No longer the days of laughter and loving gestures.
How did I get here, what wrong turn was made on this broken road?

Will these broken pieces heal themselves or has fate doomed me
to this darken cold place called -LOVE.

Funny how all seems to be broken except this – pitiful pattern…
