buzz Smack buzz Smack

It flies in the face
Black flies around buzz
Smack buzz Smack

I listen to your eyes
And the lines from the
Neurotransmitters that
Zap out unconnected to
Anything other than
Your childlike urge to
Self protect, and squirm
I hear how right you are

And I, how wrong...

You're hardwired, unchanging
Mechanically incapable of
Apology or shame
It does not compute
And me, well
I no longer dispute

I can be right alone
Or quiet beside you
And for all its
Purity and sanctity
The truth is just not
Very good company

It flies in the face
Of these lies that tie
Black flies around buzz
Smack buzz Smack
