cemetary rose

cemetary rose

(2x)would she even care

i gathered everything she said
what she was in life
but this cloud hoovering over head
this fealing i have
that she is so far away
and i can't bring her back
to this day of greif
out of the cemetary
and back to me

in this hole
the dead are rolling over
with saddness over whelming them
that this princess was brought to them
through a life grown so feeble
that i'm not happy
cause she was my release
yet she left me in complete
but the memory is still there
past the cemetary gates

(chorus)
she is dead to me now
buried in the stone
as a cemetary rose

lost within me
my plans on life
torn apart by madness and pain
remembering her touch and beauty
that unlocked the door
to reverse my life
because i can't live in the past
yet she left me incomplete
the memory is still there
past the cemetary gates

(chorus)

fealings so lost and betrayed
i'm stuck in this place i hide
look at me now
i'm trying to bend the truth
but she is dead
and there is no turning back
cause this is the destiny of our lives
with her still living on in me

when this began
i was so confused
i didn't know if i would heal again
but i will be close to what she was
till the day i die
and buried next to her
yet she left me incomplete
the memory still there
past the cemetary gate

(2x chorus)

yet she left me incomplete
the memory still there
past the cemetary gate

(chorus)

Very nice work. I was blown away not just by your words, no, anyone can put words together and call themself a poet/writer, but you, you use words like a master craftsman at certain points in this work. I liked. -buried in the stone as a cemetary rose- and - in this hole the dead are rolling over-

A lovely lament in poetic form. Your fierce expressionism remains with me like the after taste of earthy wine.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
