    CHEATING HEART

    How come you hurt me,
    when you say you love me?

    You say I mean the world to you,
    yet you break my world...

    You promised me Forever,
    but where is forever?

    You mean the world to me,
    I give you my everything,

    my life, even my soul...
    for I believe in your forever love,

    with so much pain in my heart,
    I continue loving you,

    I don't know why,
    all I know is...

    You with a cheating heart,
    still holds, the very core of my heart.

    You might not have heard of ol' Hank Williams, but he had a song, Your Cheating Heart. One of the lines went so...."Your cheating heart will tell on you." Your poem is sad, and sweet, at the same time...........................nice........................gogant

    This is a very hearfelt poem, very emotional and sad. But your expression was right on target. You asked a question a million other women have asked before. Still most if us do not have the answers. Thanks for sharing, Mary
