CHILDREN ARE PAYING FOR ADULT’S MISTAKES
Does not take a genius to see how badly our children need us
All it really takes is for us to turn on the television or the radio
In our adult population too many of our children have lost all trust
Children want parents to step up and take charge, don’t we know
Children turn to wrong things in life because parents are not right
Real parents do not snatch and curse at their children in the streets
Parents do not curse or mistreat their children in view or out of sight
MEN take care of what they create with WOMEN under the sheets
Boys, calling themselves MEN fertilize eggs by night and run by day
Little girls, calling themselves WOMEN let boys treat them like meat
Adults pretending to be parents are the reason children are that way
It going to take REAL ADULTS to make children’s lives complete
America’s President will happily veto children’s health care insurance
So quickly, politicians will vote for funds to construct new prison systems
For children’s education and safety, we need to offer some reassurance
Slow we are to help young people but in a split second we can condemn
Look at the House Speaker Michael Bush of Maryland and his colleagues
Rejected a tax-free shopping day that helped children going back to school
Some politicians care less about poorer children and more about revenues
Like parents caring less about children and more about bars, keno and pool
It is disastrous when young people has to raise themselves and their sibling
Father goes in church in Louisiana, take out children and mother at gunpoint
When you cannot even Worship in God’s House in peace, it very frustrating
Parents, friends communities children want help, how long will we disappoint
You give your last dollars to slot machines, lottery machines and liquor stores
How can children show respect when they see we are little more than fakes?
Fathers will not even teach young men to hold doors or do after school chores
Adults dropped the ball and now, “Children Are Paying For Adult’s Mistakes”
Give Them Some Help…NOW!!!
