Christmas in Arizona

Christmas in Arizona
Ever is the green a cactus bestows
surrounding grounds, mounds of sparkle
Chrism, gold, and silver the glitters
blues of many colors fill the skies above
feelings of joy, bouts of happiness
animals creeping, maybe even peeping
while night falls soft hues, others are sleeping
blue glitter above, a swooping white dove
Snow tipped trees, cardinals flutter
little critters scurry, all in a hurry
twinkle, twinkle, a flashing array
winter bud colors, blooming today
Christmas in Arizona is here to stay

I love that you have the spirit there, and you mentioned cardinals, awesome, I liked you up in the forum, Merry Christmas, ty WS http://www.originalpoetry.com/forum/view/topic/topic_id/2785

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
