    chronicle of things

there is nothing that means anything to you

yes you would protest and say your family means everything to you

but you know this is a lie; well, not a lie

only when you need some thing do they become everything to you

everything you say becomes a lie

because you never stick around long enough for it to become a truth

the more time that goes by i see more clearly how you operate

it's a shame how you waste your time with lies.

opportunity is a lie for you.

so, I am liking this one even better than the first one of your's I read. sadly, I've known a couple of ssomeones like this. your poem is very good, but seems somehow,............. unfinished..........

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
