Cool thoughts for a hot summers day.
Cold that stills the river and awakens the child in me.
Your snowflakes are glistening gifts of crystals from the sky.
Winter, I praise you, others take you for granted, I do not.
I wish I could store your essence, to cool me on a hot summer day.
I dance upon your white velvet carpet and sing praises; as you
decorate the vines with tufts of marshmallow ice that sparkle in the
dark when touched by moonlight.
