    • is wondering when he will find happiness

    Death

    Death has overcome me
as I sit and wallow in self pity
I cant help but hear a knock on my door
I get up to answer but I just hit the floor

What to do is my only thought
to live long is all I ever sought
the knocking stops and all is silent
    then a voice calls out
"Let me in or I'll get violent"

I crawl to the door and open it
To my surprise the death walks in from his firey pit
he picks me up off the floor

    Then death smiles
but all the while he was pretty mad
    He knew he'd been had
    He took out a dagger
I tried to walk away but I could only stagger
as he came closer I could smell his breath
He said one and that was "DEATH"

So i came darging into your house and stole your soul aye... that sounds like me. cool poem

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
