Desperate

Desperate

Desperate hours before the dawn I lie and think of you,

incessantly searching the gallows of my tortured soul.

Lookingfor the Love between you and I... gasping for a

shallow breath, I cringe silently shivering at the sight of

your empty bedside. A cold shiver runs through me  like

an arctic wind. My mind aflutter, my stomach in knots...

a nightmare is what life is without you.

The sun breaks through my clouded hauntings and I

wake to the realization...a dream! In an instant my heart , body

and soul thank God for the Love I've found.

Fade to tomorrow...
