  • I love the rain! I hate the pain, I only wish to see you again. So keep in touch cause it means so much.

DNA

Pictures of the past can make a lifetime last,
memories taken that can never be forgotten.

A world of dreams pictured on glossy paper,
that can never be forgotten.

As long as they exist, we can see them.
Pictures fade, memories die.

The world exposes the film of the life we hold
within and blurs the line of time.

Unless we take the time to write them down
and share our reality with others.

But I remember everything and I'm still right here
making new forgetful memories.

And false promises to keep in touch with new people
we meet. Maybe their lives are too busy.

actually memories can last a lifetime, rather good or bad, sometimes that is all we have. good poem

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
