    I'm not trying to get back with you
    Because you are not the Man I thought you would be

    I'm through playing those games with you
    All you had to do was say your through

    All the things we had planned together
    You could have said you had a change of plans like maybe never
    Don't Worry About Me
    All I wanted to do was show how much I loved you
    Instead you showed me your thoughts on how to move
    Don't Worry About Me
    I tried to call you to see if you was alright
    But you would not return my calls any night
    Don't Worry About Me
    We could have had a wonderful life
    Instead you changed your plans on me becoming your wife
    Don't Worry About Me
    So we are through and that's a fact
    I hope you get your life intact
    Instead of trying to be a Daddy Mac

    very nice poem with a good message of what love should be, shared between two people, not one sided.

    a very well composed and heartfelt piece of work. i felt the pain, disappointment and betrayal in your words. sometimes, a relationship prepares us for our true destiny in life and romance; you can only become wiser and stronger after experiencing a relationship such as this. thejazzpoet
