    DoorKnob

    Shines so bright
          It lets me  in
    So smooth and soft
          resists the wind
    Always lets me in

    Stops those who aren't welcome
      Lets those who are true
    Always letting know
       When to hide the party
    Sometimes shuts me out

    Keeps me safe and warm
       Protects my family
    Remins my family
Even if we break a dish

This Doorknob will always keep us safe
    And let us in

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
