Drowning in Love's Ocean

I believe love is like the ocean
that swallows me,
like the hurricane over the sea.
I'm drowning in an unbelievable
mystery of lost happiness,
struggling to breathe
without
the pain of filled lungs,
filled with anxiety and grief,
wondering
when will be the next time I sink
to the ocean's floor
and float back to the top of
freedom, love and being complete
